Kenya Missions

Kenya, Africa

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19-20

In Kenya, AIM organizes two differing types of mission trips. One,  the Real Life Mission Teams (RLMT) program, consists of a more structured environment where college age individuals can sign up incorporated into a team. The second, Short Term Missions (STM), is more of an umbrella term to describe various group trips, ranging in time from a week to several weeks long.

 Real Life Mission Team

RLMT is a program designed to immerse individuals into new cultures and cultivate a passion for seeking and serving God in “real life”. Teams of 8-15 embark on a 2-3 month adventure to obtain a real and practical ministry among the peoples of Kenya.

“The fruit that is being produce is very encouraging. It has been exciting to see our team really come together in the Lord and see his work. We have seen more than a dozen come to the Lord.” -Francisco Santiago, RLMT ’07

Short Term Mission Trip

STM trips are designed around the groups that sign up to come. AIM helps negotiate the lodgings and organizes the logistics, such as villages to travel to, pastors to work with, and people groups to minister to.

“Our group has been teaching and loving these kids for three days now. In that short time…we have seen what Christ meant when he instructed us to live with the innocence of these little ones.” -Chris Maddox STM ’07
