Quoting Martin Luther King, Raila (the opposition leader) said: "I have a dream that one day the people of this county shall not be judged by their tribe but by the content of their character".


 


Violence in Kenya seems to continue on.  According to Reuters, "About 650 people have been killed in violence since Kibaki's re-election last month and 250,000 displaced in a country that is more used to taking refugees from war-torn Sudan and Somalia."


 


Tomorrow Former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan is due to arrive in Nairobi.  There are high hopes for his talks with both Kibaki and Raila.  Please pray for resolution as he talks to the leaders.


 


Life in Kibera for our orphans… 


It seems that life is becoming slowly back to normal for our AIM Orphanage.  All the girls except the four youngest are back at the orphanage and all the children began school today. Please pray for their safety and for Eva who has the responsibly of caring for them in the chaos.
